This is the newest program at La Escuelita - In this academic program we offer you the full complement to the hybrid education offered by Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore public schools.
Here we can pick up your son and/or daughter from their schools and bring them to La Escuelita for an additional 3 more hours of learning.
In these three hours we will be working on the student's current grade curriculum in mathematics, English, and science.
This is a full time program. Groups will be divided by age, we have a student limit of 4 students per group. If the student’s schools participate in remote or hybrid learning, La Escuelita will accommodate their virtual classes and their time meetings within its academic program.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.

In our Mathematics common core program we teach grades k-12. We provide our students with lessons earlier than they are provided by their school so this way a student can be prepared and advanced. With this method it would be less likely for them to fall behind in class since they’ll have plenty of time to ask us questions and try out different methods that work best for them. At the La Escuelita Learning center we have reliable textbooks, worksheets, and learning games that will help our students understand and succeed.
For our younger students in Kindergarten we teach the concept of adding and subtracting numbers with colors, shapes, and drawings. For our elementary students we teach the basic fundamentals of math including whole number operations, fractions and decimals, problem solving, and order of operations. In middle school grades the skills learned in elementary school are taken to the next level and skills like percentages, proportions, and graphs are introduced.
Our older students in high school are provided with the right tools to study Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 being the most common subjects. We also help our students learn how to use tools like rulers, protractors, compasses, and calculators. We limit the use of the calculator unless absolutely necessary to teach our students not to become dependent on them.We provide real life scenarios for them to apply their newly learned skills which will help them with a different perspective of learning math.
In our spanish as a second language we teach students at any age. At first we begin with basic words and grammar and then advance according to the progress made by the student. Our goal with this program is to teach our students how to speak, read, and write properly in spanish.
We believe that learning spanish is just as important as learning english here at La Escuelita because knowing more than one language is important in our diverse community. Learning a second language can be very challenging especially on one’s own time. We will provide you with the right motivation and schedule for you to pursue this goal.
For our younger students we provide games and pictures to help with remembering certain words and actions. For our older students we teach more complex conversations according to their level of understanding. We also provide worksheets with possible life scenarios that will help the student maintain a conversation outside the classroom. The environment is intended to be fully immersive so we’ll try to only speak Spanish unless it’s necessary to switch to English.
In our Reading Comprehension program we help students k-12. We know that sometimes it is difficult for students to read or understand what’s going on in their reading which is why we will teach them what books are right for them and ways of comprehending them.
Often students pick books that aren’t right for them either by being too easy or too difficult according to their reading level. For our youngest students in Kindergarten we teach how to remember the alphabet and short words with pictures and games. For our elementary students we teach how to pronounce words correctly and read at the right pace for them. We provide short stories that students will practice reading and over time to improve pronunciation and raise their reading level.
We will teach them the importance of sentence structure and why some words are used differently than others. By asking questions we encourage students to pay attention to what they are reading. Another way of remembering would be to learn how to write summaries which we will also help with.
For our older students in middle school and high school we will guide them through essay writing and analysis. With analysis we will teach all our students how to pick up on context clues, symbolism, and different writing techniques.
In our English as a second language program we provide native spanish speakers at any age with the right tools to speak, read, and write in English. We begin with basic words and phrases and work up from there. We know how difficult it is to move to a new country and not be able to communicate or understand what others are saying.
By providing our students with the right motivation and knowledge we guarantee success in achieving this goal. For our younger students we provide pictures and learning games that will help them to remember words and phrases. For our adult students we know how busy it can be with work and family which is why we will try to provide you with a schedule and plan that works best for you. We will teach our students how to maintain a conversation with the help of worksheets and audios.
We will teach the way English is structured differently than Spanish in terms of speaking, reading, and writing. By teaching proper pronunciation skills students will learn how to understand what they are trying to say. The environment is intended to be fully immersive so we’ll try to only speak English unless it’s necessary to switch to Spanish.
In our Academic counseling program we will provide our students with the proper skills to study and succeed in their education and are provided to students grades k-12. We will help our students learn how to use their time wisely when doing homework and studying and which methods will work best for them.
Students succeed differently which is why a different approach is taken for each student depending on their needs be it visual, verbal or hands-on learning. Our goal is to help our students but to also teach them to be independent in their pursuit for higher education.
By teaching them to be organized with school work our students will learn how to retain learning skills. We will teach students how to prepare for tests and quizzes by implementing different note taking skills. According to the student we can also implement images and reliable learning games. We will recommend steps for future education decisions so that students can find a learning environment that best suits them at school.
In our computer program we teach our older students how to properly use a computer or laptop. In the world today we know how necessary it can be to be able to use a computer since the internet is used for almost everything.
We also know how difficult it may be to understand how this technology works which is why we will teach you the way everything works and how to properly take care of your computer. We will teach our students how to use programs on their computer including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Google Drive.
We’ll show how to differentiate between unsecured and secured websites, how to manage emails, and fill in online applications. For this program you will provide your own computer so that we can help you use your specific model since each computer works differently.
This program has an already set schedule which we can discuss via our phone number located at the top of the page or by going to Contact us on the side menu.
